No — and that was a deliberate design decision. SMOG operates in one existing Technology period per week. Your teacher keeps every other period for theory and exam preparation. We deliver the practical components the new curriculum requires. Your Digital Technologies scheme of work is untouched.
Yes — and they are exactly who this was built for. Before term begins, your teachers complete a 2–3 day certification intensive alongside teachers from other SMOG schools. They leave with session packs for every week, platform access, and every facilitation guide they need. By Week 4, they run independently.
That is the design. SMOG visits on alternating weeks. Your trained teacher runs the session every other week using the SMOG session pack. The system was built to not depend on SMOG being present — because a system that stops when the provider leaves is not a system. It is a dependency.
